BizDev Manager - General Usecase

Key Responsibilities

 

As a Business Development Manager, you will focus on working with various Asian projects to build on blockchain protocols that Startale Labs is building. Your responsibilities will be multifaceted and will require you to be proactive and motivated. You will have to conduct extensive research to forecast trends and position the Business Development and Growth team to design strategies to be in the best position for forecasted trends.

You will also analyze current trends in web3, shortlist protocols that you believe would make a good addition to the ecosystem, and then actively work on onboarding these protocols by making the right connections and taking calls on your own. This is an enormous opportunity to display leadership, utilize your problem-solving ability, and pave the path for the future of open internet. As the ecosystem grows, we plan to expand the role into the world of enterprises, gaming, consumer applications and entertainment.

 

Qualification and Skills

 

What you’ll need

  • Minimum 1-2 years work experience in business development within crypto/web3 industry
  • Professional level of communication capcity in English for both verbal and written language
  • Knowledge about general blockchain/web3 use cases and track records of professional experiences in the field

Preferred Experience

  • Experience of working as business development positions in blockchain protocols and/or decentralized applications
  • Capability to communicate at professional level with minimum one Asian language such as Mandarin Chinese or Vietnamese
  • Strong Degen score and deep understanding of certain web3/blockchain use cases such as gaming or consumer apps
  • Vast network for builder community within EVM ecosystem

A Day in the Life

  • Identifying and evaluating new business opportunities with Asian projects
  • Creating and executing business development strategy with a goal of expanding ecosystem
  • Managing and prioritizing a pipeline
  • Negotiating terms with various projects
  • Discovering, onboarding, and cultivating native dapps that would become a core pillar of the ecosystem
  • Engaging with well recognized projects in Ethereum ecosystem together with the leadership
  • Identifying and inventing new value propositions with existing relationships and partners
  • Strategizing with partners and attending major crypto/web3 events for new opportunities
  • Mentoring others on goal setting, execution and prioritization
