Enterprise Project Director
We are currently seeking an Enterprise Project Director to lead and oversee our large-scale blockchain protocol and ecosystem development initiative in partnership with one of Japan’s leading enterprises. As the senior leader in this joint project, the Enterprise Project Director will be responsible for strategic planning, high-level decision-making, and managing critical relationships with director-level executives within the partner company. This role will guide the project team to ensure alignment on business objectives, marketing strategies, contractual obligations, budget controls, and coordination with affiliated corporate entities, effectively bridging our startup’s agile approach with the corporate partner’s standards.
Your Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for the joint blockchain initiative, ensuring alignment with both partner and internal objectives
• Act as the senior liaison with the partner company, managing high-stakes communication with executive-level stakeholders and subsidiaries
• Oversee marketing strategies and initiatives, driving collaboration for impactful public announcements, product releases, and brand alignment
• Lead contract negotiation and documentation processes, ensuring legal and business compliance across all collaborative elements
• Supervise budget planning, allocation, and expense tracking, collaborating with internal and partner financial teams for transparency and fiscal responsibility
• Mentor and provide guidance to the project lead and team members, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring seamless cross-functional coordination
Skills and Qualities:
• Proven track record in project management, with extensive experience in leading large-scale ToC (Consumer) projects within enterprise settings
• Exceptional strategic thinking and decision-making skills, particularly in high-stakes, multi-stakeholder environments
• Strong business acumen in Japanese enterprise operations, with previous experience in strategic consulting or a corporate leadership role highly preferred
• Advanced English and Japanese communication skills, with the ability to navigate both local and global business contexts effectively
• Full-time contractor availability based in Tokyo, with a strong understanding of the flexibility and drive needed in a startup environment
