Business Development - Consumer & Gaming (BD Manager)

Key Job Responsibilities

In this role as a Business Development - Consumer & Gaming, you will be in charge of creating a robust ecosystem of Consumer & Gaming dApps for blockchain protocols that Startale Group is contributing, including Soneium.
 
This position requires you to be responsible for sourcing deals to closing them, then further working directly with the projects to launch on our blockchain protocols successfully, both technically and also business-wise by having successfully established a strong presence within our blockchain ecosystem.
 
You will have to conduct extensive research to forecast trends in the Consumer & Gaming sector, and constantly craft your day-to-day activities to achieve the long-term growth of the ecosystem by sourcing high-impact deals, while also nurturing the existing accounts you are managing
 
You’ll be challenged to excel in this opportunity by displaying 1. strong leadership to take responsibility and ownership of the accounts to drive maximum impact, and 2. outstanding sales capability to craft creative pitch that speaks to the teams for them to be convinced to participate in our ecosystem.
 
The consumer & Gaming sector which includes but is not limited to gaming, entertainment, social, AI, DePIN, and NFT-related use cases, will play significant importance in our ecosystem, and you’ll have the opportunity to lead the heart of this effort.

A Day in the Life

  • Identifying and evaluating new business opportunities for the Consumer & Gaming vertical
  • Creating and executing BD strategy to drive on-chain activities and acquire more users in the ecosystem
  • Managing and prioritizing a pipeline
  • Negotiating terms with Consumer & Gaming teams
  • Discovering, onboarding, and cultivating Consumer & Gaming projects that would become a core pillar of the ecosystem
  • Engaging with well-recognized teams & projects, with their managerial class or founders
  • Identifying and inventing new value propositions with existing relationships and partners
  • Strategizing with partners and attending major Consumer & Gaming oriented events for new opportunities
  • Actively coordinate with multiple departments within the team to ensure the accounts are driving traction within our ecosystem and receiving an adequate level of support
  • Mentoring others on goal setting, execution, and prioritization

What you'll need

  • 1-3 years work experience in business development or sales, crypto is preferred
  • Ability to read Web3 market conditions and trends, to translate that into a value for protocols
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Comfort in making decisions autonomously and explaining your ideas lucidly
