How to Bridge to Soneium with Startale App

Your next stop is Soneium, and you can get there straight from Startale App. If your funds sit on another network or an exchange, you can bring them into Soneium in a few taps. Startale App is the easiest way into Soneium: one place to bring your funds over, earn with them, and start using them, with no separate bridge site and no copying contract addresses.

To bridge to Soneium with Startale App, create your account, open Deposit, choose where your funds are today (Soneium, Ethereum or another network) and send them to the address shown. Startale App brings them to Soneium for you, usually within a few minutes.

You'll need a Google or LINE account, or a wallet you already use, and funds on any supported network or exchange. You don't need to hold anything on Soneium first. This guide walks you through it step by step, showing how to bridge assets to Soneium.

Step 1: Create your Startale App Account

  • Go to Startale App on your phone or desktop.

  • Sign up with Google or LINE, or select ‘Connect a wallet’ to use a wallet you already have.

If you connect with an existing wallet, it will be linked to your new smart wallet. Select ‘Next', and you’re in.

Step 2: Bridge your funds to Soneium

Wherever your funds are today, Startale App brings them to Soneium for you.

  • Open Wallet and select ‘Deposit'.

  1. Soneium: Scan the QR code or copy your Startale App wallet address and send your funds to it from Soneium.
  2. Ethereum: Scan the QR code or copy your Startale App wallet address and send your funds to it from Ethereum. They land in your Startale App wallet on Ethereum; use ‘Swap’ to move them onto Soneium (see FAQ at the bottom).

Select ‘Bridge to Soneium’, then ‘Transfer crypto’. Pick the network and token you’re sending from. The minimum is $10 per deposit. Then scan the QR code or copy the address and send. Startale App bridges them to Soneium for you, and they show up in your wallet in a couple of minutes.

How long does a deposit take?

Usually a couple of minutes.

Is there a minimum deposit?

Yes. Deposits through Bridge to Soneium have a $10 minimum, regardless of network or token.

My deposit hasn’t arrived. Where can I check it?

Open ‘Deposit’, ‘Bridge to Soneium ’ and select the history icon at the top right to see the status of each deposit. If it’s still stuck, create a ticket on Discord.

Why do I see “High slippage detected” or a large price impact?

Swapping from Ethereum costs a network fee that stays roughly the same no matter how much you swap. For very small amounts, that fee takes up most of the swap, so what you receive looks much lower than what you put in. Swap a larger amount in one go rather than several small ones to minimize slippage.

Can I move the funds to my own wallet after?

Yes. Once your funds are on Soneium, open Wallet, select ‘Send’, and enter your wallet address on Soneium.

Which networks and tokens can I bridge to Soneium from?

Startale App bridges to Soneium from Ethereum, Solana, Base, Arbitrum, OP, Polygon, BNB Chain, Plasma, Gnosis, Sonic, Monad, Unichain, Katana and HyperEVM, in ETH, USDC, USDT and more. Funds already on Soneium or Ethereum can be sent straight to your Startale App wallet address; no bridge needed.

Are there bridge fees?

No bridge fees: they are covered by Startale. You only pay gas on the network you send from. These rules can change over time.

What if I send the wrong token or network?

Send only what you selected. Each deposit address matches the network and token you picked. Sending another token, or the same token on another network, can leave your funds stuck. Do not send funds to your Startale Account address on another network: always use the deposit address from ‘Transfer crypto’.

I deposited USDC. Why does my balance show USDC.e?

USDC deposits arrive in your balance as USDC.e, the bridged USDC used on Soneium.

Can I send funds from an exchange straight to Soneium?

Yes. You can withdraw from an exchange, such as Coinbase, Binance, or Bybit, straight to your Startale Account. The route depends on whether your exchange supports withdrawals to Soneium.

  • If your exchange supports Soneium, withdraw to your Startale Account address directly:
  1. In the Startale App, select Deposit, then Soneium Network, and copy your address.
  2. On your exchange, start a withdrawal, choose Soneium as the network, paste the address, and confirm.
  • If it does not, withdraw to your own wallet on a network your exchange supports, then bridge from that wallet using Deposit > Bridge to Soneium > Transfer crypto (see Step 2).

Can I bridge from Soneium back to Ethereum?

Yes. Open ‘Swap’ in Startale App; under ‘Sell’ pick your asset on Soneium, under ‘Buy’ pick the asset you want on Ethereum, then select ‘Review swap’. Your funds arrive in minutes. Soneium also has a native bridge to Ethereum, but withdrawals through it take up to 7 days to finalize (the standard security window for an Ethereum Layer 2), so ‘Swap’ in Startale App is the faster route.

I sent funds from Ethereum. Why are they not on Soneium?

Funds sent from Ethereum arrive in your Startale App wallet on Ethereum, not on Soneium. To move them onto Soneium, open ‘Swap’, under ‘Sell’ pick your asset on Ethereum, under ‘Buy’ pick the asset you want on Soneium, then select ‘Review swap’.
