Business Development

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development (BD) Manager/Specialist to drive strategic partnerships and expand Astar’s market presence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for playing a key role in advising on strategic direction, fostering relationships with key industry players, and driving revenue growth through innovative collaboration strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to align business development efforts with Astar’s vision and market direction.
  2. Identify and cultivate relationships with key industry players, partners, and stakeholders to drive long-term growth.
  3. Develop and execute business strategies that enhance Astar’s market presence and create new opportunities.
  4. Negotiate and structure strategic partnerships, collaborations, and business deals that align with Astar’s objectives.
  5. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform business strategies.
  6. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing and product teams, to ensure business initiatives support overall company goals.
  7. Represent Astar at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • More than 3 years of proven experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or a related field.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to provide high-level business insights.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities with a track record of building and maintaining partnerships.
  • Deep understanding of blockchain, Web3, or fintech industries is preferred.
  • Ability to assess market trends and translate insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with co-working tools (e.g., Slack, Notion, Google Drive, Telegram).
  • Familiarity with Astar, Polkadot ecosystem, or Soneium.
  • Basic knowledge of tokenomics and blockchain regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience with CRM and project management tools (e.g., Hubspot, Asana, Notion).
