Startale Cloud Services and thirdweb offers Hypersonic Builder Grants: $200K in web3 Development Support for Soneium Builders
We, Startale Cloud Services (SCS), are excited to announce the launch of Hypersonic Builder Grants (HBG), the first initiative of the Hypersonic Builder Alliance (HBA), in collaboration with thirdweb. This grant program aims to accelerate innovation on Soneium, empowering developers with up to $200,000 USD worth of grants in crypto to fuel their web3 projects.
What is HBG?
The HBG provide financial, technical and marketing support to developers building applications on Soneium using the services of SCS and thirdweb. By combining cutting-edge developer tools and infrastructure with essential funding, HBG ensures developers can focus on building and scaling their projects.
What is SCS?
SCS delivers developer-first, trusted infrastructure for those building on Soneium, Astar Network, and beyond. Designed to support applications poised to onboard billions into decentralized technology, SCS provides a reliable RPC Node Service with 99.99% uptime, ensuring scalability and seamless access. With tools like Account Abstraction as a Service and an expanding suite of APIs on the horizon, SCS is dedicated to evolving alongside the needs of blockchain technology.
What’s thirdweb?
thirdweb is the best full-stack, open-source development platform for web3 apps & games. We offer client-side SDKs for user onboarding & identity, backend APIs for gas sponsorship & onchain transactions, data infrastructure for blockchain indexing, and audited smart contracts with deployment tooling. Our tools are available across all platforms, on all EVM chains, can be fully customized, and come with bundled infrastructure for RPCs, storage, and AA so you can ship and scale quickly.
How the Hypersonic Builder Grants Work
Eligibility Criteria for Grant Program
To qualify for the HBG, your project needs to meet two straightforward criteria: Tech Stack: Your project must utilize SCS's RPC Node Service and at least one tool provided by thirdweb. Built on Soneium: Your project must be built on or under active development for Soneium Minato.
Grant Format
This grant round offers financial support through two streams:
thirdweb: $100K worth of OP tokens for gas subsidies
SCS: $100K worth of ETH on Soneium for project development
Note: The amount of tokens allocated for this grant program will be calculated using the monthly average token price of December. The total value may change depending on market conditions.
Grant Structure
Here’s how the grants will be distributed:
Grand Prize: 1 project will receive $50K ($25K in OP + $25K in ETH) Invitation to Demo Day: Winners will pitch their projects at Demo Day on 01/29/2025.
Semi Grand Prizes: 2 projects will each receive $25K ($12.5K in OP + $12.5K in ETH) Invitation to Demo Day: Winners will pitch their projects at Demo Day on 01/29/2025.
Pool Prizes: Additional grants distributed independently by thirdweb and SCS to support promising projects beyond the main prize winners.
Grant Application Process
Application Submission (Closes on 01/15/2025) Complete the online application form by January 15, 2025. Ensure all required fields are filled out and include a project demo for evaluation.
Evaluation Process & Winner Announcement (on 01/22/2025) After reviewing all applications, we will announce 1 Grand Prize winner, 2 Semi Grand Prize winners, and Pool Prize recipients on January 22, 2025. Follow SCS X Account for updates.
Demo Day (on 01/29/2025) Grand Prize and Semi Grand Prize winners will be invited to pitch their projects at the Online Demo Day hosted by SCS and thirdweb on January 29, 2025. Winners will be contacted ahead of time to coordinate their participation.
